Important Information

Proper Use

The COMfortel WS-500S is a DECT base station for single-cell operation. Using
software activation, you can convert the device into a COMfortel WS-500M.
The COMfortel WS-500M is a DECT base station for setting up a multi-cell
system.
Both devices connect one or more DECT telephones to a VoIP PBX. The
following Auerswald/FONtevo PBXs are supported:
• COMpact 4000
• COMpact 5000/R
• COMpact 5200/5200R/5500R
• COMmander 6000/R/RX

Safety information

To ensure that you are able to use the device safely and without faults, comply
