Fall Arrester and Restraint Eyelets

Fall arrester eyelet in the back area
[marked A]
Must not be used for fall arrest in
conjunction with breathing appara-
tus
Restraint eyelet [EN 813] on lap belt
front centre, consisting of 2 textile loops
A: Arresting point - Only linking options identified by "A" are arresting points.
Warning!
When used in combination with breathing apparatus, the eyelet on the
rear may not be used for fall protection [in the event of an extreme fall,
e.g. head first, there is a risk of damage to the breathing apparatus and
the back plate, which could in turn impair or interrupt the supply of air to
the wearer or endanger other persons due to falling parts].
