Installation
5.1
Mains supply

Attention 230V mains voltage! Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a skilled
electrician in compliance with the German electrical standards (VDE) and safety provisions.

The energy supply system for the Doorguard hardwired version must be equipped with a circuit breaker in
accordance with the intended purpose (circuit breaker or plug positioned at the connecting cable to the
supply circuit).

The mains supply wires must have double insulation and must be fixed
to the housing base using a cable binder (see diagram). The enclosed
insulating tube can be used for this purpose.

Switch off the supply voltage, before opening the housing and/or working
on the device.
