Radio add-on module EWA600C-RF...

The radio add-on module EWA600C-RF... enables the heat meter to communi-
cate with walk-by and AMR systems. (S-mode and C-mode.)
The radio add-on module accepts the data from the heat meter and transmits
it to a readout system. The radio add-on module is equipped with an optical
interface for parameter setting.

Starting the installation telegrams
To do so, align the infra-red communications head WFZ.IRDA-USB (in con-
junction with a PC and the HMA suite) or the triggering tool WFZ.PS with the
IrDA interface of the radio add-on module and trigger.
The installation process is shown on the meter display by means of the current
installation step ("Inst 8" to "Inst 1").

With the heat meter set (EW-
7011BK..), the radio add-on module is
already pre-fi tted at the factory.
Only with the AMR system
Before commissioning the
add-on radio module, the network
must be set to installation mode.
