3. Loading cabinet shelves

The temperature inside the cabinets is controlled and maintained by the control unit based on temperature
sensor readings. In addition, there is an air curtain in front of the shelves in order to minimise heat loss. For
proper operation of the cabinet, it is important to make sure the air curtain is not disrupted, for example, by
improper placement of products or price tags.
When loading cabinets, care must be taken not to disrupt the airflow in front of the shelves. If the airflow is
disrupted, the temperature inside the cabinet rises, which triggers a cooling cycle. This leads to inefficient
operation and may break the food cold chain.
Please refer to the following image for correct loading of the cabinet shelves.
Note!
TectoDeck MD5 is designed to maintain a set temperature inside the cabinet, not to cool food products.
Make sure food products are chilled to the correct temperature before placing them in the cabinet so that the
food cold chain is not broken.
WARNING!
Do not exceed the following weight limits! Overloading the shelves may cause the shelf supports to fail and
objects falling off shelves may cause danger to users.
