2. General information

TectoDeck MD5 is a vertical, refrigerated display cabinet for remote installations. The equipment feeding the
refrigerant is housed in a separate, remote room. The cabinets are connected to a central refrigerant line
running from the room to the cabinets.
TectoDeck MD5 cabinets can be installed individually or in parallel. Each cabinet is individually temperature
controlled and comes pre-set to the correct temperature, as determined during product order.
Heat loss is minimised by a steady vertical airflow in front of the shelves. Maintaining a tight seal on the glass
doors and a steady airflow is crucial for the proper operation of the cabinet.
Note!
TectoDeck MD5 is designed to maintain a set temperature inside the cabinet, not to cool food products.
Make sure food products are chilled to the correct temperature before placing them in the cabinet so that the
food cold chain is not broken.
