About these instructions
Read the safety instructions carefully before use. Note the
warnings on the device and in the operating instructions.
Always keep the operating instructions close to hand. If you

Proper use

The digital satellite receiver MD 24285 is used to privately receive digital
satellite TV and radio channels.
It is not intended for use in establishments that are part of public
telecommunications networks or in the industrial sector.
Electrical devices are not intended for children's
use!
Never allow children to use electrical devices unattended. Keep plastic
packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation.

Safe operation

Only use the device in dry rooms.
If you move the receiver from a cold to a warm environment,
condensation may build up on the inside of the receiver. If this occurs,
wait around two to three hours before using the receiver.
Place the device on a sturdy, level surface.
Set the device up at least 10 cm from the wall. Do not cover the air vents.
Avoid using close to:
sources of heat, such as radiators,
Devices with strong magnetic fields, such as speakers.
Do not place any open sources of fire, e.g. burning candles, on the device.
Do not place the device on delicate surfaces.
