The small crank (44) requires a special tool
to take apart once it has been assembled.
Therefore read this section carefully before
starting to assembly the small cranks!
important!
1. The arrow on the small cranks (44)
must be lined up with the white mark
on the axle (9) when you fit them. See
illustration A.
2. The black right flange nut (47) has a
right-hand thread and should be screwed
on clockwise.
The brass-coloured left flange nut (46)
has a left-hand thread and should be
screwed on anticlockwise.
3. The left crank (53) is marked "L".
The right crank (54) is marked "R".

To fit the right crank (54), you must fit the
small crank (44) on the right side of the axle
(9) using a toothed washer (45) and the right
flange nut (47). Tighten the right flange nut
carefully with the socket spanner provided.
Push the crank cap (48) into the small crank
(44) on the right side.
To fit the left crank (53), you must fit the small
crank (44) on the left side of the axle (9) using
a toothed washer (45) and the left flange nut
(46). Tighten the left flange nut carefully with
the socket spanner provided. Push the crank
cap (48) into the small crank (44) on the right
side.
Make sure that you do NOT fit the left crank
(53) and right crank (54) incorrectly as shown
in illustration B and C!
