Addressing the Device

Mode 2 – RECEIVE

To address the CLS-82 Floodlight, the device must be set in Receive Mode. Press the Mode button first,
then the Menu button to get to DMX-Addressing.
The display show an „A" followed by 3 numerals.
Press the Up/Down-buttons, until the desired address (from 001 – 512) is shown on the display.
Controlling:
After having addressed all CLS-82, you may now start operating these via your lighting controller.
Note:
The CLS-82 will automatically detect whether DMX 512 data is received or not. If the data is received, the
control LED flashes. If there is no data received at the DMX-input, the control LED does not flash.
Possible causes:
- the 3 PIN XLR plug (cable with DMX signal from controller) is not connected with the input of the CLS-82.
- the controller is switched off or defective.
- if the cable or connector is defective or the signal wires are swap in the input connector.
To change the desired parameters of the individual menus, first press the Menu button to get to the
respective menu, then press the Up/Down-buttons until the display shows the desired parameters.
Separate and Parallel
To get to the Separate and Parallel settings, the device must be set in Receive Mode.
Press the Mode button first, then the Menu button.
The signal input changes between Separate and Parallel.
Separate Mode
4-channel DMX signal and 21 note numbers can be constantly received.
4-channel DMX signal and 1 – 4 note numbers control the intensities of all 4 channels.
Note numbers 5 – 20 switch the pre-set programs 1 – 16 on or off.
Note number 21 controls the chase speed.
Parallel Mode
Note number 1 and DMX channel 1 control the intensities of all 4 channels.
Note numbers 5 – 20 switch the pre-set programs 1 – 16 on or off.
Note number 21 controls the chase speed.
