Push in the locking button and turn the draw-off valve 90°
forwards, until the water pipe and the water boiler are free
of air and the full water stream runs out of the spout (approx.
150 seconds).
Set the temperature selector to Max.
Insert the plug into the mains supply.
Boil dry detection
The water boiler electronics monitor the appliance for the risk of
boiling dry.
LED Lights up for 20 seconds
LED Off for 40 seconds
Note
Never operate the water boiler during an active boil dry
check.
During the first heat-up, a maximum temperature of 90 °C
will be reached. This would take around 15 minutes.
The LED flashes when the heat-up is completed.
Flashes 3 x Off for 5 seconds
The appliance has not been calibrated yet.
Calibration for maximum temperature capture
CAUTION Burns
During calibration, boiling water is discharged from the
tap. Water and steam are expelled for approx. 2 minutes.
Position the pivoting spout over a sink.
Carry out the calibration process required for capturing the
maximum temperature.

Note
During calibration, never draw off any water, otherwise
the controller will not carry out the maximum tempera-
ture capture.
You can only interrupt the calibration process by pulling
the power cable out of the socket.
For reasons of safety, the calibration process cannot be
carried out twice in quick succession. For this, first carry
out a RESET.
10 seconds may pass following calibration before hot
water flows from the pivoting spout when drawing water.

Note
The water inside the appliance must cool down prior to
a RESET.
For this, open the draw-off valve/tap of the water
boiler for approximately 2 minutes.
With a RESET, the maximum temperature is reset to the factory
setting of 90 °C.

Check that the water boiler and the tap are functioning cor-
rectly.
The entire content of the water boiler must be heated up
once. For heat-up time, see chapter "Specification/Heat-up
time".
System handover
Explain the functioning of the water boiler and tap to the
user. Show the user how to operate the appliance.
Make the user aware of potential dangers, especially the risk
of scalding.
Hand over these instructions and the instructions for the tap.
9. Shutting down
Disconnect the water boiler from the mains power supply by
pulling out the plug.
Drain the water boiler; see chapter "Maintenance".
