Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock in case of improper repair!
Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can put
your own and future users' lives in danger. Only authorised specialists are allowed to
carry out this repair work.
Problem
Fans and lighting not working. The appliance is disconnected
Lighting not working.
Odours are no longer
sufficiently removed / week
airflow.
Motor stops after a few
minutes
Poor performance of the
exhaust hood when in
exhaust air operation.
Grease is dripping off the
appliance
Buzzing sound
Possible causes
from the mains.
LED bulb is defective.
The filters are dirty.
The appliance has overheated
and tripped the internal circuit
breaker.
The hood does not have a
sufficient air supply.
The exhaust air hose is bent
or too long.
Grease filter is clogged.
Foreign object in the fan.
Solutions, tips
Check to ensure that the
mains plug is positioned
correctly. Check the socket by
connecting another electric
device. Check the house fuse.
Call the Service department
and have the LED lamp re-
placed (see page EN-19).
Clean the grease filter and/or
replace the carbon filter (see
from page EN-10).
The appliance does not
receive enough air supply.
Inform the Service department
(see page EN-19).
The hood can expel a large
amount of exhaust air. This
is why you need to provide
a sufficient air supply, e.g.
by providing non-sealable
openings in doors, windows
and ventilation conduits.
Please observe all safety
instructions (see from page
EN-4).
Check whether the exhaust
air hose is bent or too long.
Clean the grease filters (see
page EN-10).
Inform the Service department
(see page EN-19).
