USE AND MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
TO BE KEPT BY THE USER
1. INTRODUCTION
Follow the instructions contained in this manual to obtain
the best performance and the proper operation of the
electropump.
For any further information, please contact your nearest
authorized dealer.
ALL TYPES OF REPRODUCTION, EVEN PARTIAL, OF
THE ILLUSTRATIONS AND/OR TEXT IS PROHIBITED.

4. WARRANTY AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
Failure to comply with the indications supplied in this
instruction book and/or any intervention on the unit
not performed by our assistance centres, will make the
warranty null and void and relieve the manufacturer from
any liability in case of accidents to persons or damage to
property and/or the unit itself.
5. GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Before operating the electropump, the user should
know how to perform all operations described in
this manual and apply them every time during the
use or maintenance of the electropump.
The user must strictly observe the safety regulations
in force in his country; he must also take into
account the electropump features (see "data label").
The user must never carry out operations or
interventions, which are not accepted in this manual,
on his own initiative.
During the repair or maintenance interventions of
the electropump, take off the power supply, thus
preventing the accidental starting that could cause
damage to persons and/or property.
Any maintenance, installation or moving operations
performed on the electropump with the electric
system energized, can cause serious accidents
or death to persons.
Do not start the unit when barefoot ,or worse, in
water and with wet hands.

5.1. INTENDED USE

The electropumps used for the lifting and distribution of

clean water or with sand quantity not greater than the one

shown in the table "limits of use"
In particular, the SB 3 electropumps are used for:

• Moving clear water in wells.

• Pressure boosting of clean water for agricultural, domestic

5.2. NOT INTENDED USE

All uses not specifically mentioned in 5.1 are generally

banned; in particular the electrosubmersible pumps must
not run without water. If there are doubts that the aquifer
may fall until the pump is left unsheltered, a protection
with minimum level probes system is needed.

6.1. STANDARDS APPLIED

The electropump you have bought was designed and built
in conformity with the following regulations:
• MECHANICAL RISKS (Attachment I Machinery Directive):
- UNI EN ISO 12100-1 and UNI EN ISO 12100-2 standards
• ELECTRICAL RISKS (Attachment I Machinery Directive):
- UNI EN ISO 12100-1 and UNI EN ISO 12100-2 standards
- CEI EN 60204-1
• VARIOUS RISKS (Attachment I Machinery Directive):
- 2006/42/CE - Attachment I
The electrical components and their circuits installed on
the electropumps meet the CEI EN 60204-1 standards.
