Regular testing, inspection and maintenance

Disconnect the evaluation device from the power supply before testing and

servicing.
CAUTION
Risk of infection in cases of improper sanitary installation
Work on the grease layer thickness measuring device must only be carried

out by qualified personnel,
Avoid contact with waste water and wear protective gloves.

Burns due to hot surfaces
The sensor is heated in the measurement range and can reach 95 °C.

ACO recommends that you take out a maintenance agreement. This ensures proper
and on-schedule completion of the maintenance work by ACO product specialists,

IMPORTANT If defects are found during the tests or inspections, the grease layer thickness
measuring device must not be put back into service until these defects have been corrected.

6.1 Weekly checks

Checks by the operator company:
Monitor the functioning of the grease layer thickness measurement device measuring

device on the evaluation device.
In case of undefined measurement results, remove, clean and check the measuring rod
■
for damage if necessary.

6.2 Annual maintenance

Before removal, create a marking on the measuring rod to retain the installation depth.
Clean the measuring rod thoroughly with rinsing agents.

Check the condition and functioning of the grease layer thickness measuring device.
