Commissioning
The minimum backpressure in the metering pipe must be 0.08 MPa (0.8 bar) to ensure the
IMPORTANT
degassing valve functions flawlessly.
6.1
Parameter Settings - Selecting Degas
The menu navigation / control of the degassing valve is provided with the EMP E60 pump
IMPORTANT
with the corresponding software (version 4.0 or later)! Please observe the menu navigation
description in the EMP II E60 pump Operating Instructions (Article No. 417101438).
While the system is running (operating mode display), press the "Up" and "Down" keys
simultaneously (/▼ key combination Menu/Exit) to open the main menu. The black
selection bar marks "operation mode."
Press the "▼" key and the black bar jumps to the "configuration" menu option.
Press the "START/STOP" key. You are exiting the main menu and switching to the
configuration level.
Press the "▼" key 12 x until the black bar marks the "degas" menu option.
Press the "START/STOP" key. the black bar jumps to the right-hand symbol:

Select the desired function (- or ) by using the Up or Down key (/▼).
Press the "START/STOP" key.

Degas
/ Degas Strokes
Degas strokes are the number of strokes to be completed during a degassing interval.
Adjustable range: 1-100 (standard setting = 0)
Choose menu option "Parameter Settings - Selecting Degas
The desired number will be saved and the selection bar jumps back to "Degas strokes".
