Troubleshooting

Symptom: Sprayer does not run, stops running, or will
not shut off.
Perform Pressure Relief Procedure.
1. Plug sprayer into correct voltage, earthed outlet.
2. Turn the ON/OFF switch OFF wait 30 seconds and
then turn power back ON again (this ensures sprayer is in
normal run mode).
3. Turn pressure control knob clockwise 1/2 turn.
Problem
Sprayer does not run at all

Display is blank
Sprayer does not shut off

4. Check which error code is shown on the display (e.g. E
= 02).
Keep clear of electrical and moving parts during trouble-
shooting procedures. To avoid electrical shock hazards
when covers are removed for troubleshooting, wait 7
seconds after disconnecting power cord for stored electri-
city to dissipate.
How to check
Replace the control board.
Make sure there is no pressure in the system (see Pres-
sure Relief Procedure). Check fluid path for clogs, such
as clogged filter.
Only use original airless hoses that are at least 7.5 m
long and have a diameter of 1/4" for STORCH airless
devices from the ST Series.
Turn ON/OFF switch OFF and disconnect power to the
sprayer.
Check pressure sensor and its cable connection.
Disconnect transducer from control board socket. Check
to see if transducer and control board contacts are clean
and secure.
Disconnect pressure sensor from control board. Check
that the contacts of the sensor and the control board are
clean and for any damage.
Reconnect the sensor to the control board. Connect
power, turn ON/OFF switch ON and control knob to 1/2
turn clockwise. If the device is not working perfectly,
set the on/off switch to OFF, unplug the mains plug and
install a new pressure sensor. Turn ON/OFF switch ON
and control knob to half turn clockwise. Replace control
board if device still does not run properly.
