Cleaning without the QuickClean cleaning adapter
1. Perform Pressure Relief Procedure.
2. Secure gun trigger.
3. Remove intake pipe and circulation hose from the paint
and wipe off excessive main above the pail.
4. Submerge the intake pipe in the flushing agent. Use
mineral spirits or another compatible solvent for solvent/
oil-based paint and water for water-based paint. Aim the
circulation hose into a waste pail.
5. Hold gun against paint pail and disengage trigger lock.
Carefully trigger gun and hold at an angle to the edge of
the bucket. Turn the circulation valve to the horizontal
position.
6. Switch on the device. Increase pressure by half a turn
to start the motor until the pump runs steady and flushing
fluid appears.
7. Now aim the gun in the waste pail, hold gun against
pail until clear flushing fluid appears to thoroughly flush
Original instruction
system.
8. While continuing to trigger gun, turn circulation valve
down. Then, release gun trigger. Allow flushing fluid to
circulate until fluid comes out of circulation hose clear.
Filter cleaning
9. In order to increase the cleaning speed, when the lea-
king flushing water is still slightly cloud remove the fil-
ter from the pistol handle and the device filter and clean
them with a compatible solvent.
Caution: Conduct depressurization beforehand and
switch off device! Once the filters are cleaned, repeat the
steps from Point 4.
10. After cleaning the device with water, it then needs
to be rinsed with corrosion inhibitor CoroCheck (article
number 69 09 10). To do so, pour approx. 3 litres of cle-
an tap water into a clean bucket and add approx. 100 ml
of CoroCheck. Rinse both circuits using the material hose
and the circulation hose. If solvent has been used for clea-
ning, do not leave any residues in the device and rinse
using the CoroCheck solution mentioned above.
11. Hold the pistol above the bucket with flushing fluid,
release and trigger. Turn prime valve horizontal.
