1.3 Installation of the electrical components
The relay K20.1, including the connected cores and the 3-core cable to the flange heater E10.11, must be
removed.
The contactor and the feed-through terminals must be mounted in the designated position in the
switch box on the existing mounting rails (clips) as shown in Figure 4. The mounting bracket for the safety
temperature monitor (STM) must be fixed in place with the short edge side in the position shown in Figure 4
using the self-cutting M4x8 screws in the designated holes. The STM is fixed on this bracket with the M4x6
screws + serrated washer. The capillary lines of the STM must be routed in the cables ducts of the switch box
and fed on to the bottom side of the electric heater. The capillary lines must be fixed in place on the lead
harness of the electric heater with cable connectors (caution: do not crush the capillaries). The lines must be
routed so that it is possible to remove the switch box and set it aside later if necessary without having to
disconnect lines.
