Setting of Reaction Temperature
Limits (Tr min and Tr max)
Enter the Tr min, Tr max values
and confirm with OK.
The safety limits for the tem-
perature of the reactor contents are
given by the limits of the thermo-
stat temperature, Tj.
You should choose Tr max so that
a thermal runaway of the reaction
can be avoided.
Setting the Ranges for the Jacket
Temperature (Tj)
Enter the Tj min, Tj max values
and confirm with OK.
The safety limits of the thermostat
temperature are given. You can
change them within the limits of Tr.
Tj min cannot exceed the Tr min
value, Tj max cannot fall below the
Tr max value.
