5.3 Restart or reset

For a restart of the recorder press the momentary
pushbutton RESET (8) with a thin object. The
restart can also be made via the computer:
1) Via the menu line at the top call the recorder set-
tings with "NVR Setup" and then the page "NVR
Setup ± System Options ± Maintenance".
2) Click the button "Restart" under "Restart NVR".
Then confirm the confirmation prompt for the
restart.
To reset all recorder settings to the factory settings,
click the button "Restore Factory Default" under
"Reset NVR to Factory Default". Then confirm
the confirmation prompt. Then the recorder is
restarted. All settings made by the user are deleted
and replaced by the factory settings. Do not switch
off the recorder during this reset process.
To delete the video recordings, use the format-
ting function ( chapter 4.8).

5.4 After use

Switch off the recorder with the button
the system is shut down, the button flashes for a
few seconds, then the recorder is switched off. To
prevent unnecessary power consumption if the unit
is not used for a longer period of time, after switch-
ing off the recorder, disconnect the mains plug of
the power supply unit from the socket.
