20 Connecting additional VITA dental furnaces and VITA vPads
Please note:
• Furnace positioning on the VITA vPad excellence must always begin with 1
• Always connect the VITA dental furnaces and VITA vPad to the
VITA MultiPump beginning with step 1
• The USB cable of the VITA vPad is always inserted at the location on the
VITA MultiPump where the vacuum tube of the corresponding VITA dental
furnace is located.
Example: If the first VITA vPad uses vacuum connections 1+2 for two
VITA dental furnaces, then the VITA dental furnaces of the second VITA vPad
must be connected to vacuum connections 3+4 and the USB cable of the second
VITA vPad connected to USB port 3 of the VITA MultiPump.
Three connection examples are shown below.
