12 The description below explains how you can
connect one dental furnace from the above
series as well as one VITA vPad excellence to
the MultiPump. Proceed in the same way for all
additional dental furnaces and / or VITA vPad
excellence devices.
13 Using a sharp knife or similar, cut a suffi ciently
long section off the vacuum tube. Ensure that you
cut the tube off as vertically as possible.
Connect the fi rst VITA dental furnace to the
VITA MultiPump using the vacuum tube provided.
While applying a little pressure to the
connection, insert the vacuum tube until it slips
into the quick coupling with a "jerk".
All vacuum tubes must hang "loosely". In other
words, they should not be pulled tight following
insertion in the MultiPump and the dental
furnace.
14 Connect the VITA vPad excellence to the
VITA MultiPump using the USB cable provided.
