Multiple Power System MPS®:
Beim DCX beträgt die Nennleistung
(max. Leistungs aufnahme) 24 kW bei
400 V und kann intern auf 27 kW, 21 kW
oder 18 kW umgeschaltet werden.
Beim DCX 13 beträgt die Nennleistung
11,0 kW bei 400 V und kann intern auf
13,5 kW umgeschaltet werden.
Multiple Power System MPS®:
The DCX's rated capacity (max. power
consumption) is 24 kW / 400 V and can
be changed internally to 27 kW, 21 kW or
18 kW.
The DCX 13's rated capacity (max. power
consumption) is 11,0 kW / 400 V and can
be changed internally to 13,5 kW.

8. Erstinbetriebnahme

Vor dem elektrischen Anschluss das
Leitungsnetz und das Gerät durch
mehrfaches, langsames Öffnen und
Schließen der Warmwasserarmatur
mit Wasser füllen und so voll stän­
dig entlüften. Nach jeder Ent­
leerung (z. B. nach Arbeiten in der
Wasserinstallation, wegen Frost gefahr
oder nach Repara turen am Gerät)
muss das Gerät vor der Wieder in­
betrieb nahme erneut entlüftet werden.

Leistungsumschaltung

Darf nur durch autorisierten Fach mann
erfolgen, sonst erlischt die Garantie!
Bei der ersten Installation des Gerätes
kann die maxi male Geräteleistung ein ge­
stellt werden.
Die maximal mögliche Leis tung
ist abhängig von der Instal la tions­
umgebung. Beachten Sie unbe dingt die
Angaben in der Tabelle mit den tech­
nischen Daten, ins beson dere den not­
wendigen Quer schnitt der elek trischen
Anschluss leitung und die Absicherung.
Beachten Sie zusätzlich die Vorgaben der
DIN VDE 0100.
1. Werksseitig ist die Leistung auf
24 bzw. 11,0 kW eingestellt und
mit einem Aufkleber auf dem DIP­
Schalter versiegelt. Wenn eine
Leistungsumschaltung notwendig
ist, ist der Schalter entsprechend
einzustellen und mit den beigelegten
Aufklebern zu versiegeln.
2. Die entsprechende Leistung ist nach
dem Elektroanschluss auf dem Geräte­
Typenschild und in der Tabelle im
Kapitel »Technische Daten« mit Hilfe
eines Kugelschreibers anzukreuzen.
3. Schalten Sie die Stromzufuhr zum
Gerät ein.
4. Öffnen Sie das Warmwasserzapfventil.
Überprüfen Sie die Funktion des
Durchlauferhitzers.
5. Machen Sie den Benutzer mit dem
Gebrauch vertraut und übergeben Sie
ihm die Gebrauchsanleitung.
6. Füllen Sie die Registrierkarte aus und
senden diese an den Zentralkunden­
dienst oder registrieren Sie Ihr Gerät
online.

8. Initial operation

Before making the electrical connec­
tion, fill the mains and the appliance
with water by carefully opening and
closing the hot water tap in order to
vent completely. After every draining
(e.g. after work on the plumbing sys­
tem or following repairs to the appli­
ance), the heater must be re­vented in
this way before starting it up again.

Selection of power rating

Only by authorised specialist, other­
wise lapse of guarantee!
Upon installation of the appliance the
maximum power rating can be selected.
The maximum allowable power rating
at installation site depends on the local
situation. It is imperative to observe all
data shown in the table "Technical speci­
fications", in particular the required cable
size and fuse protection for the electri­
cal connection. Moreover, the electrical
installation must comply with the statu­
tory regulations of the respective country
and those of the local electricity supply
company (Germany: DIN VDE 0100).
1. Upon delivery, capacity is adjusted at
24 resp. 11,0 kW, and the DIP­switch
is sealed by a sticker. If capacity shall
be changed, set the switch accordingly
and seal the new adjustment with the
enclosed stickers.
2. After electrical connection please
mark with a cross the power rating
on the type plate and in the chapter
"Technical specifications".
3. Switch on the power supply to the
appliance.
4. Open the hot water tap. Check the
function of the appliance.
5. Explain the user how the instantane­
ous water heater works and hand over
the operating instructions.
6. Fill out the guarantee registration card
and send it to the Central Customer
Service or use the online registration.
