3.10.2 COPYING THE PHONE BOOK FROM GSM MOBILE PHONES TO THE INTERNAL
PHONE BOOK AND VICE VERSA
You will not normally need this function if you use synchronisation regularly. Bear in mind that
copying deletes the current phone book in the target device.
Copying should therefore only be used when you want to transfer the entire phone book to the
SIM card or vice versa. Two functions "Karte an Telefon" and "Telefon an Karte" are available.
Example 1 for "Telefon an Karte". You have a new mobile phone with a new SIM card and want
to transfer the entire phone book from your telephone to the SIM card.
Example 2 for "Karte an Telefon". You have not yet entered any telephone numbers into your
telephone's phone book and want to transfer the entire phone book from the SIM card to the
telephone.
A. Please follow the instructions:

Press the button.
Turn the Jog dial until the message "SIM Eingabe" appears in
the display.

Now open the compartment for the SIM card and insert the card
into the holder.
Now slide the cardholder back into the telephone and press the

button.
Enter your mobile phone's four-digit PIN code.
Confirm the PIN code with
correctly, you can enter the PIN code again after a few seconds.
WARNING! Please note that there are only three attempts
available. After this, the SIM card must be revalidated with the
"master PIN" (PUK).
