2.1

CONNECTING THE RECEIVER

After unpacking your telephone, you must first connect the telephone receiver to the base
unit. The spiral cable needed for this has two identical connections so that there can be no
confusion. First take one end of the spiral cable and plug it into the socket at the bottom of
the receiver. Now plug the other end into the socket on the left-hand side of the base unit.
2.2 INSERT BATTERIES
Before connecting your new telephone to the telephone network, the four batteries supplied
should be installed. Please only use alkaline 1,5V type AAA batteries. The batteries are only
required in case there is a power cut so that the internal clock, all memory functions and the
handsfree feature work correctly. Before installing or changing the batteries make sure that
the telephone is not connected to the telephone network.
1. The battery compartment is to be found on the underside of your telephone.
2. Remove the screw and open the battery compartment.
3. Insert the batteries. Ensure that the polarity is correct.

4. Close the compartment and secure the lid with the screw.
The batteries should be changed when this symbol
of the display. The lifetime is about 1 year.
2.3 CONNECT MAINS POWER SUPPLY
In order to enjoy maximum convenience, we recommend the use of the mains power supply
provided. The 300G telephone can also be used without the power supply however if
connection is not possible. You will need the batteries even when using the mains power
supply to protect against power cuts.
Note: You can also use your telephone without the mains power supply provided. Please
note that the batteries must then be changed after about 6 months.
