10. Faults and cures

Fault messages are indicated on the display as „E"
followed by a four digit number.
Each number indicates a particular fault condition:
- „0" = no fault
- „1" = fault is present
Display
Exxx1 There are no valid
values in the
memory (RAM).
This condition
could be caused by
changing the
battery.
Exx1x No valid operating
parameters in the
EEPROM.
Ex1xx No valid calibration
values in the
EEPROM.
E1xxx CPU error, This
means fault in the
electronics.
Battery under 3.2 V
Cause
Loss of stored
measured values,
Counter values as
well as date and
time.
Loss of operating
settings.
Unit not ready for
operation.
Unit defective.
Transmission to the
PC operation
software is
interrupted.

Set the unit up
again using the PC
software.
Set up the unit

software .
Please return the
unit for repair.
