8. Setting up unit using PC software
An operating manual for the PC operating software can be
found on the CD ROM. A basic requirement for unit set-up is
that it can only be done when the unit is connected to the PC
using the RS232 serial interface cable.
Attention: In order to make sure that the RS 232 plugs have
made correct contact screw the retainers tightly into the
corresponding connection on the computer as well as the
data-logger.
1. Start the PC programme.
2. Now the unit can be integrated in the programme and can be
set up using the PC. Please take note of the operating
instructions/help integrated in the programme.

8.1 Basic settings

The following can be set up in the menu point "Basic settings":
8.1.1 Unit identifier
Here the unit can be given a new individual itentifier or the
actual identifier can be changed.
8.1.2 NT/ST changeover
Normal/summer time changeover
If this parameter is active then the summer normal time
changeover is automatically activated in the spring and autumn.
If it is set to "No" then the changeover must be done manually.
8.1.3 NT/ST region
This parameter sets the region for different summer/normal
time changeover
8.1.4 Store
Here the store mode is set up.
- Set-up possibility "Always"
Data storage is continuous at the preset store cycle.
