Danger of fatal injury due to kickback!
The operator can be fatally injured by
kickback of the appliance.
It is essential to comply with the
measures in order to avoid any kick-
back.
Comply with the following measures to avoid any
kickback:
Inspect the branches to be sawn for foreign
bodies (nails, metal, etc.) and remove them.
Only hold the polemounted pruner with two
hands by the handles of the basic appliance.
Do not work unless the saw chain is correctly
sharpened and tensioned.

Vibration load

WARNING!
Danger due to vibration
The actual existing vibration emission
value when using the device may differ
from the value specified in the operating
instructions or the value specified by the
manufacturer. This can be caused by the
following factors that must be observed
before every use or during use:
Is the device being used as inten-
ded?
Is the material being cut or pro-
cessed in the proper manner?
Is the device in a proper condition of
use?
Is the cutting tool properly sharpened
or is the correct cutting tool installed?
Are the handle grips and any optional
vibration grips mounted, and are they
firmly attached to the device?
Countermeasures
If you notice an unpleasant sensation or dis-
colouration of the skin on your hands when
using the device, stop work immediately.
Take sufficient work breaks. Without suffi-
cient breaks, a hand/arm vibration syndrome
can occur.
The load factor (which depends on the work
performed or the use of the device) should be
assessed and appropriate breaks taken. This
significantly decreases the load factor
throughout the whole working period.
Minimise your risk of being exposed to vibra-
tions. Maintain the appliance according to the
instructions in the operating instructions.
If the device is used frequently, contact your
dealer and obtain anti vibration accessories if
necessary (e.g. grips).
Avoid working with the device at temperat-
ures below 10 °C. Define how the vibration
load can be limited in a work plan.

Noise pollution

A certain level of noise exposure from this device
is inevitable. Carry out noisy work at approved
and specified time periods. Observe rest periods
as necessary and restrict the duration of the work
to a minimum. For your personal protection and
protection of persons in the vicinity, appropriate
hearing protection must be worn.
