• Do not overfill the water container. Overfilling the
water container can cause damage and injury.
• Do not fill the water container with liquids other
than water. Other detergents can damage the ma-
chine or cause injury.
• Do not turn the machine over and never tilt in more
than 10° when in operation.
• Do not use this machine to clean electronic devic-
es or installations. Do not operate the machine for
longer than 1 hour at a time.
• Do not immerse the cable, the plug or the machine
in water or other liquids.
• Do not operate the machine if the power cable is
damaged. If the power cable is damaged or the
machine demonstrates faulty performance, it must
be repaired by a qualified electrician.
• Hair, loose clothing, fingers, feet and all body parts
should be kept away from the water jet. Do not op-
erate the machine barefoot or wearing open-toed
shoes or sandals.
• Disconnect the power before carrying out mainte-
nance work.
• Never pull or carry the machine by the cable, do
not use the cable as a handle, do not shut doors on
the cable or pull it around sharp edges or corners.
• Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
• Disconnect the plug when the machine is not be-
ing used. Turn off all operating elements before
disconnecting the machine from the power supply.
• Do not disconnect the plug by pulling the cable
from the mains. Pull on the plug, not the cable.
Do not touch the plug or operate the machine with
wet hands.
• Store it in a dry place.
• Do not expose the machine to sub-zero temperatures.
• Only ever use original spare parts. Check the ma-
chine and the cable at regular intervals. Do not turn
on the machine if it is damaged.
• Do not place the machine on a wet surface and do
not operate it close to a water source.
• Never operate the machine without the safety cap
being firmly closed.
• Leave the nozzle pointing at one location only for
a few seconds - surfaces can be damaged during
longer exposure to heat and damp.
• Do not use this machine to clean swimming pools.
• Turn off the machine before pulling the plug from
the mains. Turn off the machine and pull the plug
out before filling the water container. Leave the ma-
chine to cool down for 30 minutes before remov-
ing the filler cap in order to refill the machine with
water.
mCaution! This is how you will prevent damage
to the machine and injury to people potentially
resulting from such damage:
• Do not work with a faulty, incomplete machine or a
machine that has been modified without the manu-
facturer's permission. Before commissioning, have
a specialist check that all required electrical safety
measures are in place.

• Do not operate the machine if the mains cable or
other important parts such as the hose or spray
gun are damaged.
• Protect the machine from frost and running dry.
• Hoses, fittings and couplers are important for the
machine's safety. Only ever use hoses, fitting and
couplers recommended by the manufacturer.
• To ensure the machine's safety, only ever use the
manufacturer's original spare parts or spare parts
approved by the manufacturer.
• Only a qualified electrician may open the machine.
If the machine has to be repaired, please contact
our Service Centre.
• Make sure that electric connections never come in
contact with water!
• Always use the weed killer with the supplied lock.
• Ensure that the mains cable never gets wet or
damp during operation. Route the cable in such a
way that it cannot be jammed or otherwise dam-
aged.
• After using the machine, always pull the plug from
the mains. Simply turning it off will not be enough
because there is still mains voltage in the machine
as long as the plug is connected to the mains.
• Before using the machine, check it for visible dam-
age. Do not use the machine if it is damaged or has
been dropped.
Electrical safety:
m Warning: This is how you can prevent acci-
dents and injury by electric shock:
• If you are using an extension lead, the plug and
coupler must be waterproof.
m Unsuitable extension leads can be dangerous.
There is a risk of personal injury by electric shock.
• Protect the electric plug connection from getting
wet.
• If there is a risk of flooding, attach the plug connec-
tion in an area that cannot flood.
• Ensure that the mains voltage corresponds with the
information on the rating plate.
• The mains connection has to be carried out by an
experienced electrician and meet IEC 60364-1 re-
quirements.
• Only ever connect the machine to a socket with re-
sidual current circuit breaker (FI switch) with trigger
power of no more than 90 mA.
• Before each use, check the machine, cable and
plug for damage.
• If this machine's mains connection is damaged, it
has to be replaced by the manufacturer, the manu-
facturer's customer service or a similarly qualified
agent in order to prevent hazards.
• Do not use the cable to pull the plug from the socket.
Protect the cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Do not carry or mount the machine by the cable.
• Only ever use extension leads which are splash-
proof and designed for use outdoors. Before use,
always completely roll the cable from the drum.
