3.2.5. Area lighting operation
Area lighting comes on with the motor, and goes out 60 seconds a er the
motor has come to a complete stop.
If a remote control is programmed to control the lighting, it operates as
follows:
With a 2 or 4 button remote control
With a 3-button remote control
3.2.6. Operation in sequential mode with automatic
closing a er time delay
The door closes automatically a er a time-out programmed during
installation.
A new command during this time-out cancels automatic closure and the
door remains open.
The following command causes the door to close.
3.2.7. Operation using the backup battery
If a backup battery is installed, the motorisation will work even during a
power outage.
Operation is then activated under the following conditions:
• Reduced and constant speed.
• The additional devices (photoelectric cells, orange light, wired code
keypad, etc.) do not operate.
Battery specifications:
• Battery life: 24 hours; 3 operating cycles depending on the weight
of the door.
• Recharging time: 48 hours
• Service life before replacement: Approximately 3 years.
3.3. Adding
Keygo io remote controls
This operation is used to copy the function of a button on a memorised
Keygo io remote control to a button on a new Keygo io remote control.

For example, if the button on remote control A opens the door fully, the
button on the new remote control B will also open the door fully.

3.4. Operation of the gate safety

Opening the pedestrian gate integrated into the garage door prevents the
garage door from moving.
The integrated lighting is activated intermittently for 30 seconds.

3.5. Emergency manual back release mode

The Dexxo Smart io is equipped with a manual back release device which
makes it possible to operate the door manually, for example in the event
of an electrical fault. This device must be able to be accessed easily, at a
maximum of 1.80 m from the ground.

For optimum battery life, it is recommended that the main power supply be
switched off and the motor operated using the battery for several cycles,

Pull on the cord until the door drive system is released.
This is possible as the drive system is released.
Move the door manually until the drive mechanism locks on the
transmission rail.
Attention
When releasing the drive, an incorrect balance may result in sud-
den movements which may be dangerous.
Only use the cord to release the drive. Never use the cord to manip-
ulate the door manually.
It is essential that the drive is re-engaged before any new com-
mands.
