Configuration / initial operation
The device is delivered in a transport and storage case:
Open the case and remove the device by lifting it by the base plate (no. 10, fig. 1).
Transfer the device to where it is going to be used on the scaffolding and suspend it using the rear scaffold
mount (no. 2, fig.2). The transformer cover (no. 3, fig. 2) now butts against the lower scaffold section of
the backrest. Loosen the tension belt which secures the cutting bow for transport purposes and then stabili-
se the device forcefully via the tension belt (no. 4, fig. 2) on the lower bar of the backrest to secure it from
falling down: Feed the tension strap through the gap between the transformer and transformer cover (on
the rear side of the device), then feed it behind the scaffolding pole and back into the strap fastener and
pull the strap tight.
If the device is to be mounted on the freestanding support (art. no. 57 00 50, fig. 4), suspend the device
via the upper cross-member of the support and secure it to the lower cross-member as described above.
To ensure the foam board is held securely unfold the board supports (no. 11b, fig. 3) as well. Make sure the
device is mounted securely and at the correct position.
