2.7 Changing to overhead
wire operation
• It is only possible to change to
overhead wire operation in ana-
logue mode. In this case only the
front pantograph is normally at the
top. The two pantographs can be
brought into the upper position
together by rearranging jumper J1
on the control electronics. In digital
mode, however, the pantographs
will always then react together to
function f1!
• Never switch to overhead wire
operation when in digital mode!
Otherwise the locomotive will,
depending on the operating status,
quickly stop on the track without
function and with no means of
being operated.

Operation
Connect contacts 1 + 2 with the
jumper: Both pantographs will work
together.
