Operation
In digital operation with the 6021
Control-Unit the "f4" function can be
used to minimize the acceleration
and braking delay that has been set.
This is an advantage when switching
cars, for example, when you want to
have direct control over the locomotive.

2.4 Operation with the various
power systems
2.4.1 Digital / Delta
The Control-Unit (6021) can be used
for control. There are 4 coding swit-
ches on the back of the Control-Unit
which are to be set as follows for
operation with Märklin1-locomotives:

These switch settings are to be
changed only when the Control-Unit
is off. The direction indicator on the
Control-Unit is activated by these
switches.
The 4 auxiliary switches f 1 to f 4 can-
not be addressed when using the
6020 Central-Unit. The direction indi-
cator is likewise not present with this
central unit.
When set for Digital, this locomotive
can also be used with the Delta-
Station and a Delta-Mobil hand con-
troller; the four coding switches on
the locomotive must be set for one of
the four Delta addresses. The head-
light auxiliary function is turned on
when operating with the Delta-Station.
2.4.1.1 Setting the locomotive
address
The tender body must first be re-
moved to change the locomotive's
address (see page 47).
The locomotive's digital address is set
with the ten coding switches on the
electronic circuit. The address "56"
has been set at the factory. The fol-
lowing table shows the possible loco-
motive addresses together with the
appropriate switch settings for them.
