1. Loosen the screw (6) on the battery compartment (8) using a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Turn the battery compartment cover (7) anti-clockwise and remove the cover. (Note marking on
device).
3. Remove the battery holder from the battery compartment.
4. Insert four AA batteries into the battery holder, observing the polarity markings inside the battery
holder bays.
5. Insert the battery holder back into the battery compartment. Only one direction is possible. Do not
use any force. The battery holder must audibly snap into place.
6. Close the battery compartment again and tighten the screw, applying moderate force.
The "battery icon" shows the battery charge status on the monitor.
Replace the batteries when the battery LED (15) is flashing.
