8. connecTIng camera

1. Connect the plug of the gooseneck camera to the socket on the base unit. The protruding metal
tongue on the camera's plug should be facing the recess on the front side of the socket.
2. Slide the screw cap (18) upward in the direction of the camera and turn the screw cap counter to
the direction of the arrow shown on the inscription remove to lock the gooseneck (2) with the
camera head (1) into position.
3. Follow these steps in reverse order when disconnecting the camera from the base unit.

9. InserTIng microsd card

To use the photo/video function, you first have to insert a microSD card (not included in delivery). For
this, proceed as follows:
1. Open the cover on the right side of the monitor (14). For this, slide the locking mechanism
upwards (towards oPen) and then slide it forwards, towards the camera, while holding the locking
mechanism in open position.
2. Insert a microSD card into the microSD slot (4). The contacts of the card have to face toward the
display. The card has to snap into place.
3. Close the covering again. The covering must click into place.
If no microSD card has been inserted, the "No SD icon" lights up on the monitor.

10. basIc funcTIons

The basic unit is only waterproof according to IP67, if the battery compartment
cover and the covering are properly closed.
The endoscope may only be used for inspection of dead systems. The camera head
is made of metal and can lead to short circuits. for safety reasons, disconnect all
system parts from the power supply before every inspection.
avoid strong mechanical strains or vibrations. make sure you never go below the
minimum bending radius of 45 mm.
1. Press the button on/off (9) to switch the device on. The power LED (16) will turn on and the camera
image will appear in the monitor (14).
2. Two LEDs are integrated in the camera head.
- Press the button ▲(10) to increase the brightness of the LEDs incrementally.
- Press the button ▼(12) to reduce the brightness of the LEDs incrementally or to turn the lighting
off entirely.
