8 Mounting of the Analytical Mill AX 60

 Make sure that the switch of the drive unit is in off position
 Close the chamber and connect it to the drive unit – therefore insert the drive shaft with
the safety pin (22) into the coupling of the drive unit. Make sure that the upper part is
properly fitted to the drive unit. This can be easily detected by the "click" that is heard
when the coupling Shaft has reached the end of the coupling slot of the motor.
 Now fix the mill attachment firmly with the knurled screw at the coupling of the drive unit.
 Start the drive unit at the lowest speed.
Important Note: There are 4 connections for the separate cooling facilities of the two
grinding chambers. When using N2 or other super cooling media please make sure
that knife shaft and bearings do not freeze. This could occur due to condensed water.
