– To guarantee the minimum pump ground clearance of 80 mm
or 100mm, fit the base support before lowering the pump.
The pump should be prevented from falling
ATTENTION!
over or moving away from the spot where it
has been installed.
It must be ensured that the tube is not ripped off or
knocked off unintentionally or uncontrolledly. Prevent
the hose from buckling!
5.1.2 Stationary wet-well installation
– Stationary wet-well installation (fig. 2b):
– Pos. 1:
Duckfoot bend with pump mounting for two pipes,
profiled gasket, assembly, base and fixing acces-
sories and pipe tensioner for guide pipe. The guide
pipes (2 x 1[" for pump TP 80 and 2 x 1|" for
pumps TP 100 and TP 150 in accordance with DIN
2440) are to be provided by the customer.
– Pos. 2:
Backflow preventer with unrestricted passage,
cleaning opening, ventilating device and fitting
accessories

Shut-off valve with fitting accessories
Pos. 4:
Pipe bend with fitting accessories

Pipe connector for guide pipe 2" (for more than

– The fixed pipe connections on the pressure side are to be
provided by the customer.
– Fit and align the duckfoot bend on the base of the shaft with
the base fastening accessories.
– Connect the compressed-air piping to the duckfoot bend with
the required fittings (accessories).
– Attach pump mounting, profiled gasket to the pump pressure
pipe connection.
Observe chucking torque and screwing
ATTENTION!

– Attach the 2" guide pipe (to be provided by the customer) to
the duckfoot bend. If necessary extend the guide pipe by
means of a pipe connector.
– Hang the pump from the guide pipe and carefully lower it on
the chain.
The pump finds the right operating position automatically and
seals the delivery connection on the duckfoot bend by its own
weight.
– Fasten the guide pipe mounting to the shaft shackle (provided
by the customer).
5.1.3 Stationary dry installation (horizontal and vertical)
– Stationary, horizontal dry installation (fig. 2c / 2d):

– The fixed pipe connections on the suction and pressure side
are to be provided by the customer.
– On the pressure side, if the pump is installed horizontally the
flange pipe (pos. 19) must be fitted between the compensator
and the pump.
– The connection of the pipework to the

pump must be made exclusively by flange
to DIN 2576 form B (without sealing
strip) Fig. 3 This demand is guaranteed by
the use of Wilo accessories.
Observe screwing depth and chucking
torque!
– Install pump free from distortion.
– The weight of piping and fittings must not
be borne by the pump and compensators
and are to be supported by suitable
fasteners.
– The customer must ensure that the pump is installed free from
resonance. The pipes are to be supported at suitable
distances to avoid unacceptable oscillations. The use of
suitable compensators is recommended when uncoupling the
pump.

5.2 Electrical connection

Electrical work must be carried out by a qualified and
licensed electrician in strict compliance with local
regulations.
– The main current and voltage must comply with the data on
the rating plate.

– recommended PG-screw fitting
– Pump must be earthed in compliance with regulations.
– In the case of pumps which are installed for stationary use, in
compliance with EN 50014. The PE terminal (to EN 60335) is
to be connected to the drilled hole marked for earthing ( ) on
the handle using suitable screws, nuts and washers. Plan for
a cable cross-section of min. 2.5 mm
ance with local regulations for the PE terminal.
