1. Cover the sensor head completely
with sample water (submerge or
flood surrounding area)
There are three alternative
procedures for different
requirements:
Measurement accuracy of approx. 10%
2. Set the temperature coefficient α of
the sample water in the setting
menu of the controller (to 25 °C)
3. Enter the installation factor of the
sensor into the setting menu of the
controller. The installation factor is
"1" if the sensor has been assem‐
bled as per the instructions.
High measurement accuracy/calibrate
with reference instrument
Normally the calibration of the ICT
1 will be performed with a refer‐
ence instrument (e.g. a portable
instrument for conductivity) once
installed. Prepare the portable
instrument as described in the
operating instructions for the refer‐
ence instrument.
For the best measurement accu‐
racy of the ICT 1, calibration of the
reference instrument must be
accurate to at least 1%.
