Control unit for garage door
The control unit activates a low voltage (24Vdc) brush motor for
the automation of both side and sliding doors.
Main characteristics:
• 140W switching power supply
• Outputs: 24Vdc output for accessories, 24VDC blinking
output (2 Hz), 24Vdc warning light, TX photocell power supply
courtesy lamp (230V-25W / 120V-15W)
• Inputs: START, STOP , PHOTOCELL, DATA (VRD), MECHANICAL
SAFETY RIB (CMS).
• Built-in magnetic encoder.
• Built-in 433 MHz super heterodyne.
• Remote radio learning, up to 83 different transmitter codes
can be stored.
• Radio self-learning push button available on card.
• Complete clearing of stored codes.
• Test to detect the photocell presence: without the photocell it
can operate by means of the PITCH-TO-PITCH logic; in case
there is a connected photocell, it can operate by means of
an automatic logic.
• Learning automatic cycle for working time.
• Current sensor to avoid any squashing.
• Slowing down.

AUTOMATIC LEARNING

During the automatic learning the control unit stores the
working time and the presence of the photocell.
WARNING: during the automatic self-learning operation
all inputs, safeties and current sensor levels are not used.
If the motor hasn't been activated and the chain is completely
folded, fully open the door and proceed with point 1.
If the motor has been activated before the self-learning phase
and the chain has covered part of the section, press P1 key
until the door reaches half its run and proceed with point 1.
1. Press and keep pressed P1 key for
10 seconds, until the courtesy light
switches off (don't take into
consideration the blinking made after 5
seconds).
2. Release the P1 key: the courtesy light will switch on and the
motor will move closing up to reach the closing stop; the
courtesy light will switch off for 2 seconds.
3. The courtesy light will switch on and the motor will move
opening up to reach the opening stop; the courtesy light will
switch off. If you push the P1 key before the motor reach the
opening stop, the control unit store this point as the opening
limit switch.
4. The courtesy light switches on and the motor moves closing
up to reach to closing stop.
Once the cycle of automatic learning is finished the control unit
is ready for the operation.

TRANSMITTER STORAGE BY MEANS
OF A P1 KEY
• Keep P1 external push-button pressed for 5 seconds, the
courtesy lamp will blink once and then stays switched on.
• Release P1 key and press the transmitter key to be stored
within 5 s.
• The courtesy lamp blinks once and waits for a new
transmission for 5 seconds. The light switches off after the
last transmission: the control unit is ready to be activated.

HOW TO MODIFY THE FUNCTIONING PARAMETER

It is possible to modify the levels of the control unit using a
4 keys transmitter setted in the memory.
Every key is combined with a regulation (adjustment):
KEY1: Current sensor level
KEY2: Functioning logic
KEY3: Slowing down, blinker and warning light
KEY4: Pre-flashing and photocell test
KEYS 3+4: Final closing thrust force
WARNING: any modification of the functioning
parameters has to be done by closed door
