f) Connecting the accumulator pack
Prior to connecting the accumulator pack to the drive control, activate the remote control transmitter (see chapter 8d)
and 8e).
To prevent a sudden starting of the wheels and therefore an
uncontrolled starting of the model (e.g. if the trimming for
the drive is maladjusted), place the model vehicle on a
suitable cardboard surface or similar (see illustration on the
right), so that the wheels can turn freely in case there is a
fault scenario.
Now connect the accumulator pack to the drive control.
g) Activating the drive control
Slide the switch of the drive control to "ON" and check the drive and steering function of the vehicle.
In general, the default settings by the manufacturer are already correct and you can start driving your vehicle now.
If the vehicle's motor starts although the throttle is in central position, trim it in accordance with the operating instructions
on the transmitter.
The same applies for the steering if the wheels on the vehicle of are not straight although the steering knob on the
transmitter is in the central position.
h) Attaching and fastening the car body
Guide the tube of the antenna from underneath the car body
through the hole intended for that purpose.
Now put the car body on the holders and fasten the vehicle
lining with the safety clips removed at the start.
Your car is now ready for its first test run.
