3 Application
3.1 Indications for use
The product is intended for exoprosthetic fittings of the upper limbs on youths and adults.
3.2 Area of application
The product has been developed for use in everyday activities. It must not be used for activities
where it would be exposed to unallowable environmental conditions or strains (e.g. extreme
sports).
3.3 Conditions of use
The product is intended exclusively for use on one patient. Use of the product by another person
is not approved by the manufacturer.
The product can be used with myoelectric or passive prostheses.
3.4 Indications
• For patients with unilateral transhumeral amputation.
3.5 Contraindications
• Transradial amputation
• Amputation in the shoulder area
• Bilateral amputation
• Fitting with a body-powered prosthesis
3.6 Further Usage Restrictions
• Patients with measurements outside the planned sizes S, M and L
3.7 Service Life
The product is a wear part, which means it is subject to normal wear and tear, and has a service
life of at least 6 months.
3.8 Qualification
The fitting of a patient with the product may only be carried out by an orthopaedic technician.
