Operating Instructions
A correctly installed tubular drive cuts off in the event of an exceptionally strong load increase in the UP/DOWN direction, thus
preventing overloading of the tubular drive, for example, if the end rail or moulding freezes.
Fault
The drive is noisy or the roller shutter
does not ascend. An end limit has been
overrun. The drive stops after one revo-
lution and switches to "time-restricted
operation".
The drive stops during ascent due to
unacceptably high torque. Only down-
wards movement is possible.
The drive stops during descent due
to piling up of the laths. Only upwards
movement is possible.
The drive clicks 2x when it switches on,
deletes and overruns the end limits.
The drive stops at the same point dur-
ing each run. Only movement in the
opposite direction is possible.
The drive jerks briefl y and does not run
in the required direction.
The drive does not run in the required
direction. Drive does not respond.
The drive stops too soon or overruns
the desired end limit.
The drive clicks 2x when it switches on
and overruns the end limits or starts
with a delay.

What should you do, if...?

Cause
Stop, lath or curtain suspension broken
off.
Roller shutter curtain is jammed or
hooked.
Electrical connection short-circuited
(possibly due to damp).
External consumption units are
switched into the connection cables of
the drive.
Drive is overloaded.
Drive is defective.
Drive has overheated.
An already programmed drive has been
installed (end limits already present).
L1 and N interchanged in case of long
cable.
Remedy
Repair system, reset drive, then repro-
gram end limits.
Check roller shutter curtain, running
rails and run-in aligners.
Repair electrical installation. Repro-
gram system.
Check electrical installation, remove
external consumption units, reprogram
system.
Service system or use more powerful
motor.
Perform RESET with programming but-
ton. No "clicking" audible (emergency
program). Drive can be raised and
lowered with the programming handset
for removal.
The drive will be ready for operation
again after a few minutes.
Delete end limits with RESET button
and reinstall drive.
Swap L1 and N (N = blue, L1 = black,
brown), reprogram system.
