Operating Instructions
The P5/16R+, P5/20R+ and P9/16R+ roller shutter drives are high quality products with a wide range of performance fea-
tures:
• Optimised for use in roller shutters
• Automatic recognition of end limits in conjunction with locking strap
• End limits can be set using standard commercial rotary switch
• No fi nal limit position setting on the drive
• Compensation for changes in the curtain (temperature, aging)
• Small tensile load on the roller shutter curtain by the drive
• Several drives can be operated in parallel
• Suitable for all Becker controls
• Compatible with previous motors (4-wire connection cable)
• Presses the curtain down in the closing position and makes reaching beneath or lifting the shutter more
diffi cult (in conjunction with locking strap)
• Torque recognition
Please adhere to these operating instructions when installing and setting up the system.
BeckerAntriebe GmbH will be released from all warranty and product liability obligations if the customer modifi es the equip-
ment without prior approval from BeckerAntriebe GmbH or if the equipment is installed incorrectly and/or contrary to the
specifi ed installation instructions, by the customer or a third party.
Any further processing must comply with all current statutory and offi cial regulations governing manufacture and advice to
customers, especially the EMC regulations.

cise product specifi cations.
Despite extensive tests, BeckerAntriebe GmbH cannot guarantee function of the drives in combination with controls of other
manufacturers. Please consult BeckerAntriebe GmbH before installation; we will be pleased to assist you.
