Fault causes and rectification
The following table will help you to identify and rectify minor mal-
functions:
Faults
No sound is

the head-

Cause/remedy
The playback device is not switched on or play-
back has not started. Switch on the connected
playback appliance and/or start playback.
The volume control of the playback device is set
to the minimum volume. Increase the playback
volume.
The 3.5 mm jack is not fully inserted into the play-
back device's headphone socket. Push the 3.5 mm
jack all the way into the socket.
The 3.5 mm jack is not fully inserted into the play-
back device's headphone socket. Push the 3.5 mm
jack all the way into the socket.
The stereo balance control on the playback device
is incorrectly adjusted. Adjust it to the setting you
desire.
