Playing a Picture MD

Using the on-screen information and menu

The following are the information and menus for the Picture MD.

Displaying the picture information

Display a picture on the screen and press the MENU key repeatedly to display the
PICTURE INFO screen.
The PICTURE INFO screen is superimposed on the picture. It shows the data of the picture being
displayed.
Album number and picture number
Recording resolution**
S: 480 × 640 dots
H: 1024 × 1536 dots
U: 2048 × 3072 dots
* No indication appears with the picture that is not labeled.
** The unit automatically detects the resolution with which the picture is recorded and display it.
For example, "S/H" means the picture is recorded with both resolutions S and H.
*** No indication appears when narration is not recorded for the picture.
To quit the PICTURE INFO screen
Press the CANCEL/MIRROR key once, or press the MENU key repeatedly.
Emphasizing the bass during sound playback
— DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost) function
Press the MENU key repeatedly to display the OPTION screen.

Press the keys to move the cursor to "DBB," and press the
ZOOM +/– keys to select "DBB1 (medium level)" or "DBB2
(high level)."
Press the EXEC/ROTATE key to activate the DBB function.
To cancel the DBB function
Display the OPTION screen and set "DBB" to "NORMAL."
