4. Safety instructions

The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with the operating instructions. Liability for
any and all consequential damage is excluded!
We do not assume any liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by improper use or the failure to observe the safety
instructions! In such cases the guarantee is voided.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. plain tread tires) are exclude from the guarantee and warrantee, the same is the case for accidental
damages (e.g. broken off transverse link, scratched or destroyed car body etc.).
Dear Customer, these safety instructions are not only for the protection of the product but also for your own safety and that of other people. This is
why you should read this section very carefully before using the product!
a) General information
Attention important notice!
Operating the model may cause damage to assets and/or persons. Therefore, you have to make sure that you have sufficient insurance cover
when operating the model, e.g. liability insurance. If you already have a liability insurance, please inform yourself before using the model whether
this is insured as well.
• The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children under 14 years of age!
• The product may not become wet.
• The model is only designed for use outside of closed rooms. The fumes are harmful to health. Never operate the combustion motor in closed indoor rooms, not
even for test purposes.
• Take note of the warning notes and the equipment regulations that are specific to the vehicle!
• Only use original replacement parts.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended. It may become a dangerous toy for children!
• Should questions arise that are not answered with the help of this operating manual, contact us (contact information see chapter 1) or another expert.
The operation and the handling of remote control model cars must be learned! If you have never steered such a vehicle, drive especially carefully and get used
to the reactions of the car to the remote control commands first. Do be patient!
b) Engine, fuel
• Also pay attention to the running-in regulations for the engine.
• Only use model vehicle fuel designed for RC models. RC cars require fuel based on methanol/oil with a minimum ratio of 5% to 25% nitromethane and 16%
oil. Never use common car gasoline! Also, never use fuel for flight models. This contains too little oil.
• Do not touch the engine and the exhaust during operation! Never reach into the drive and do not insert any objects in it!
Danger of burns and other injuries!
• Switching off the engine Cover the exhaust pipe with a motor stopper (alternatively with a rag) to stall the motor. The fuel supply should not be disconnected
as otherwise the engine could overheat. You may first turn off the receiver and then the transmitter when the engine is no longer running.
• Store fuel in a locked place and out of the reach of children! Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes or skin. Consult a doctor if you feel unwell! The
individual ingredients of the model fuel, methanol and nitromethane, are toxic!
Danger to health!
• Never spill the fuel. Use a special fuel bottle to fuel the car.
• Only perform test runs and drives out of doors. Do not inhale the fuel and exhaust fumes.
• Check the tightness of hose connections and tank lid before each use.
• Car fuel is highly flammable. When fuelling the truck, do not smoke. No open fires!
