11. Maintenance and Cleaning

The product does not require any maintenance. You should never open it or take it apart.
Any maintenance or repair must be carried out by an expert or a specialized workshop only.
Improper interference invalidates not only the guarantee/warrantee but also the license (CE).
In addition, this involves other dangers, for example short-circuit, fire etc.
Before cleaning, switch off the product and disconnect it from the mains voltage; pull the mains unit from the mains
socket.
Dust can be easily cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and a clean soft brush.
To clean the outer surface, use a soft, dry and lint-free cloth.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or solvents since this might damage the casing (discoloration is possible or
the marking peels away).

12. Disposal


Electric and electronic devices must not be disposed of in the domestic waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regulations.

13. Radio range

The range of the AV transmission depends on various factors. Ideally, in free field (between both antennas) up to
a 100m is attainable; in buildings, however, only a maximum of 30m is possible.
A guarantee for this range is, however, not possible as the local conditions at the place of installation could affect
the range negatively.
A deterioration of the range is to be expected under the following influences:
• buildings and ceilings in reinforced concrete
• coated windows (e.g. energy-saving windows), heaters
• electric lines
• devices on the same or neighboring frequency
• badly shielded electric appliances (e.g. computer with "inspection window" or opened computers)
• walls
