9. Operation

a) Switching on/off
To switch off the VGA-TV converter, press the "POWER" key on the keypad (1). The AV receiver is always switched
on if it is supplied with power via the power supply unit.
b) Selecting a radio channel
For the AV transmission, 4 channels are available (CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4).
Always select the same channel on the TV converter and on the AV receiver. Otherwise, no AV transmission is
possible.
This is possible via the DIP switch (see fold-out page, position 4 and 15).

Only one of the small switches can be switched to the "ON" position, namely on the TV converter and
the AV receiver respectively, always the switch with the same number (e.g. move switch "1" downward
onto "ON", all other switches upward).
Move the DIP switch only if VGA-TV converter and AV receiver are disconnected from the power supply.

c) Turning the antenna

The antenna (see fold-out page, position 6 and 14) should always be placed vertically. Occasionally, a different
position might result in a better picture (the antenna can be turned by 180°).
Do not use force when turning the antenna as this might damage the mechanical interlock (prevents
the turning of the aerial line inside the VGA-TV converter and the AV receiver).

d) Switching the RGB output ON/OFF

The DIP switch "6" on the VGA-TV converter activates the RGB output when placed in the "ON" position.

If the RGB output is activated (connection at the socket "RGB OUT", 9), then the video output "VIDEO
OUT" (10) and the S-video output "S-OUT" (11) are not available any longer.

e) Zoom function ("ZOOM" key)

The picture display can be enlarged via the "ZOOM" key on the keypad (1). The display detail can be scrolled via the
arrow key (13).
Press the "ZOOM" key again in order to return to the normal display.
