6. Notes on Li-Ion Battery

• Leave the rechargeable battery tightly installed in the product, only recharge
it via the charging electronic integrated in the housing. Otherwise there is a
risk of explosion/fire! The same is the case if the rechargeable battery is
connected with reverse polarity.
• The battery must not be short-circuited, taken apart, damaged or thrown into
fire. It might explode.
• The Li-Ion battery should be kept out of children's reach. It is not a toy.
• A damaged battery or leaking liquid may cause acid burns when getting into
contact with the skin. Use suitable protective gloves, if this is the case. Don't
use the rechargeable battery anymore, dispose of it in an environmentally
friendly way.
• If you don't use the rechargeable battery, charge it about every 3 months, in
order to avoid a total discharge/damage of the rechargeable battery.
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable
batteries, please read the chapter "16. Disposal".
