12. Operation as Copy Station/Photo Bank

The USB cable has to be disconnected.
The hard disk (at least the first partition on the hard disk!) has to be partitioned
and formatted with the file system "FAT32).
There has to be sufficient memory on the hard disk available.
The required rechargeable battery condition, depends on the size or number of
the memory cards to be copied.
Of course, you can additionally insert the plug-in power supply included in
delivery, so that the rechargeable battery won't get empty and the photo bank
switches off during the copying process.
• Put the sliding switch on the side in the "ON" position.
• When you operate the unit with the rechargeable battery, the photo bank is to be switched
on with the " " button (hold button until a display appears).
If HD Format "error" appears briefly on the LC display, that means that the hard
disk was not yet partitioned/formatted or that it is formatted with the file system
"NTFS" (copying not possible!).
• Briefly press the "OK" button to get a status report on the hard disk. Checking the hard disk
can take a little while, depending on the size and the data contained on it.
