• Put the sliding switch into the "OFF" position when you don't use the product.
Disconnect the plug-in power supply from the mains socket.
• Charge the Li-Ion rechargeable battery about every 3 months, in order to
avoid a total discharge.
• Do not move the product when you use it. A hard disk is very sensitive to
knocks or other movements. If the write/read head hits the hard disk it will
get damaged and there is furthermore the risk of data loss!
Switch off the photo bank if you don't need it anymore (put switch in "OFF"
position). Wait a couple of seconds until the hard disk has shut down.
Afterwards the photo bank can be, eg transported.

15. Maintenance and Cleaning

The product is maintenance free for you, this is why you should never open it or take it apart
(aside from installing a 2.5" hard disk).
Have repairs/maintenance only carried out by an expert or a specialised workshop.
Clean the product with a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or other chemical solvents since this
may damage the surface of the housing or even impair operation.
